Tony and Sue,
Thankyou for a great stay at your gite, your hospitality was
excellent, Graham and I had a "brill" time and will
return in the not too distant future. We arrived home safely
We were extremly impressed by the scenery, found the area
very picturesque, peaceful and quiet. Loved the multitude
of lakes and rivers. We hope your business is successful and
will recommend you to any of our friends who are contemplating
a holiday in France. We will stay in touch and I am sure that
we will be over again before the end of the holiday season.
We have had a fantastic week at Le Petit Verger. Our first
visit to France was better than we could ever have imagined.
Sue and Tony have created a beautiful, comfortable gite that
was so welcoming after a long journey. Champagnac la Riviere
is a lovely village, from the excellent bar to the lovely
riverside picnic area. Their
knowledge of the area was very useful to us novices, suggesting
beautiful lakes to visit for a lovely walk followed by a fantastic
'menu du jour' at the restaurant at the lake, and the excellent
local market at Piegut Pluviers selling everything you can
think of. In fact you can just sit outside the cafe/bar and
watch the local characters go about their business. There
are so many places to visit, chateaux, historical villages
and only 40 minutes from Limoges (for the townies). We would
not hesitate to recommend Le Petit Verger in the beautiful
Limousin. It is ideal for relaxing and exploring the surrounding
you both so very much for a most enjoyable stay. You were the perfect
hosts. We love your home very much and would love to own something
as beautiful as Le Petit Verger. Thank you for your kindness and assistance
in our search for a home in the Limousin.Your advice has been invaluable.

On weather forecasting, maybe not what we wanted to hear, but couldn't
fault it. All the seasons rolled into a brilliant 11 days. Thanks

Hi Tony &
just a quick e-mail to say what an enjoyble week I have just had at
Le Petit Verger. I love France but this is one of my favourtite areas.
Lovely accommodation, spotlessly clean, well appointed. Gorgeous weather
and excellent fishing............the fishing!! what can I say, all
in one week, my personal best and a lake record at Les Coombes!! A
4.7kg golden trout, took the line from the reel like a train and me
for a walk up and down the lake. Superb quality fish in A1 condition
- all power! Arrived as hosts and guest, feel that we departed as
friends. Really do hope to be able to return.
Once again thanks for a great week,Geoff Richardson.Tiptree,Essex
